Music Video Of The Day
music video of the day: "Windows" by Angel Olsen
Won't you open a window sometime? What's so wrong with the light?
If you've yet to fall deeply for Angel Olsen this should do the trick.
Her lovely album Burn Fire For No Witness came out earlier this year. It's really great.
music video of the day: "The Light" by Nick Hakim
This dude right here. Smooth stuff indeed.
Check out his soul watering EPs Where Will We Go Pt. 1 & 2 below.
music video of the day: "In Conflict" by Owen Pallett
Because you are more than time and space.
Owen's words below...
The song is about men; the ghost of my father whispering to me about human desire, and it’s about this moment in your life when you start to recognize that your body is a series of apparatus and you start to covet the bodies of people younger than you. I don’t identify as male, I identify as gender-queer, but I am very sympathetic whenever I see men throwing aside everything they have for the love of somebody new. It’s been the subject of so much poetry.
music video of the day: "Switch Lanes" by Tkay Maidza
Kawaii bad ass. Check her mixtape below.
music video of the day: "Why" by Les Sins ft. Nate Salman
Because today is a great day for dance moves and good vibes. Friday stuff.
music video of the day: "Gooey" by Glass Animals
Because this started playing over the speakers of the tea shop I stopped in today. Naturally, I started singing-along and the girl working the counter laughed at me. Rad rad.
ps. I saw Interstellar tonight. I also just wanna go where I can get some space. Space is so cool.
music video of the day: "Once In A Lifetime" by Talking Heads
Because I just came home from a month long trip overseas and away and this song came on shuffle as I was landing back in Toronto. Also because David Byrne is the coolest.
music video of the day: "Out Alee" by Hundred Waters
Because their album The Moon Rang Like a Bell has been soundtracking a lot of my travelling this past month. Tonight is my last night abroad before I go back to Toronto. It feels weird.

music video of the day: "Fingerweg" by Orchestra of Spheres
Because I just saw them play some weird old house covered in oil paintings and what is life?
music video of the day: "Hot Wax" by King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard
Finally saw them play live. About time. They rule, as does Iceland Airwaves. If only I could get better wifi... Alas. Still rad.

Because I'm in Iceland yo!
music video of the day: "Cool Water" by Ice Cream
Molecular Pop vibes.

Fun crazy intense times. The best.
music video of the day: "Now You Know" by Arca
Just got to Berlin. Very weird day. Arca rules though.
music video of the day: "Sunshine" by Flight Facilities ft. Reggie Watts
Because it's snowing in Toronto but I'm in Paris and the sun is shining.
Also because I love Reggie Watts so much but this goes without saying.
music video of the day: "Made Of Air" by Grouper
11 minutes of much needed stillness, softness and reflection.
Float away. It's all okay.
